The company “Vaiņodes bacon” is allocated 1.5 million euros

JSC “Regional Investment Bank” has allocated 1.5 million euros to one of the largest Latvian pig breeding companies for the purchase of seasonal grain from SIA “Vaiņodes bekons”,

Last year, the “Regional Investment Bank” allocated 1.2 million euros to the company.

Kārlis Kavass, a member of the board of Vaiņode Agro Holding SIA, the owner of Vaiņodes bekons, provides support to the company with an airbag that protects against fluctuations in the raw materials market, ensuring predictability of production costs.

“It is important to add that the big beneficiaries are also the local grain growers, who have the opportunity to quickly transfer the grown products and receive payment quickly. We are glad that we can provide support and stimulate the county’s economy in this way,” Kavass added.

It has already been reported that the audited profit of the “Regional Investment Bank” last year was 714,678 euros, which is 4.2 times less than in 2019.
