Bunker loading and delivery operations have been restarted in the Port of Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates, the main fuel storage and refueling center in the Middle East, which had been suspended on October 2 before Tropical Storm Shaheen.

Some barges resumed bunker fuel deliveries to ships in the early afternoon, although the sea remained rough. The terminal was not completely closed as Shaheen bypassed Fujairah and made landfall in Oman. It is now moving inland through Saudi Arabia, according to weather reports.

Ship movements in the Port of Sohar, in Oman, they were also suspended on October 2. The United States Navy Joint Typhoon Warning Center reported that Shaheen made landfall near Sohar, which is the site of a refinery.

Crude export cargoes at the terminal Mina al-Fahal of Oman were temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure.
