NEW YORK – Authorities are seeking three people for questioning in the case of the 16-year-old who was shot in the head while in a Brooklyn park on Friday, police said Monday.
Kyla Sobers, 16, was shot in the head around 3:00 p.m. Friday when she was with friends in Boerum Hill Park after finishing her day of classes at Cobble Hill High School. . This after three suspects came to the area by bicycle and fired several rounds in their direction.
The victim, whom police sources describe as not being the target of the shots, was caught in the crossfire.

The minor was taken to a hospital in critical condition after the shooting and until early Monday morning she was still fighting for her life.
Sobers’ family said he still had a piece of bullet in his head. Her mother said they had to put her in a medically induced coma.
It is unclear what caused the shooting or who the intended target was.
