You know him from the weekly updates on the corona figures: virologist, veterinary doctor and interfederal spokesperson for the crisis center Steven Van Gucht. Eric Van Looy did not expect to get a ‘yes’ from Van Gucht, ‘but Steven turned out to be very happy with the question’, says Van Looy.
Another well-known name that managed the available beds in intensive care during the pandemic: intensivist Geert Meyfroidt (UZ Leuven).

From actress, comedian to performer Wiam is a mysterious candidate, according to Van Looy, because he does not know her real name. ‘That makes her interesting’, it sounds. Wiam is an Instagram phenomenon with over 11,000 followers. On her account she inspires people to lead a life where men are not central.
He is best known for his accent and arguing with fellow YouTubers: Acidaka Nathan Vandergunst. Acid is one of the largest Dutch-speaking youtubers in Belgium. “I just hope I understand him, because I haven’t fully mastered his dialect yet,” Van Looy responds.

There are quite a few film directors in the program. One of them is the Antwerp director Anthony Nti, who in addition to an Oscar nomination in the category best short film for his graduation project Da yie. However, he was one of the ten contenders for the five nominations.
There are also surprising candidates from the Netherlands: Sunday with Lubach-presenter Arjen Lubach and singer Merol who is known for the song ‘Shut your mouth and bef me’.
