The former top blogger Emilie «Voe» Nereng (25) already as a 13-year-old became one of Norway’s first and most popular bloggers, before she eventually withdrew completely from the spotlight and shut down the blog.
In recent times she has been to see both in «Shall we dance», «71 degrees north – Norway’s toughest celebrity» and as host of Matkanalen. Nereng has also published several cookbooks, in addition to making video clips about food and diet on Instagram.
Being part of the TV 2 series is an experience she brags about in the clouds – with a few exceptions.
– It was both fantastic and cruel at the same time. It was incredibly tiring – the most tiring thing I’ve done in my entire life – but still worth it. It was a very cool and educational experience, she says when Dagbladet met her on the red carpet earlier this week.
The 25-year-old says that she thinks everyone would have benefited from such an experience.
– Here you have to put on make-up, clothes, fashion and decorative items, and then put on a uniform so everyone is equal. Then you also have to work as a team right from the start. I feel that all people would have benefited from it.

– A parallel universe
In private, the 25-year-old has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Torgeir Glomnes Johansen for several years. IN In 2019, he went down on his knees and proposed, and the couple is now engaged.
In connection with the recording of “Kompani Lauritzen”, she therefore had to be away from her fiancé for a longer period. However, she took it with crushing calm.
– I felt that I was lucky that way, because he had to go all walks with the dog, and in a way I just went to a parallel universe. I felt that I was extremely far away, and experienced so much that I did not have time to think about it.
– But I noticed how wonderful it was to come home, and have really only had a great time after I came home, she adds.

Wedding planning
It was in 2016 that it became known that the former blogger had found love. Barely a month later, she revealed the blog its that she and her boyfriend had also become cohabitants.
Three years later, the couple got engaged. At the time, she wanted to keep the details to herself, but told Dagbladet that she “was intoxicated”.
Now it is time to plan a wedding – but the planning has been long overdue.
– We have been waiting for covid to calm down. Now it’s really back to normal, so now we can finally get started. I was a bit there that I did not want to start anything until everything had calmed down. I want to go “all in”, and then I do not want travel restrictions or the “meter” and all that. Then we rather waited until everything was ready, the effervescent influencer concludes.
