Pandora, the Staffordshire terrier who escaped from the KLM Animal Hotel near Schiphol last week, has been found. The dog was found at the McDonald’s branch near the airport, where she had been twice last week seen.
The dog escaped from the animal hotel at Schiphol last weekend. The owners had their two dogs transported by KLM from South Africa to Dublin, where they recently moved. Things went wrong during the transfer at Schiphol: Pandora fled when an employee of the animal hotel had left a door open.
Dozens of volunteers
The dog was lost for a week. Dozens of volunteers helped in the search to find her. The owners had even offered a reward of a thousand euros for the person who would track Pandora.
So now the dog is back. She was eventually found by the father of one of the owners, Irish Tony Pereira. He flew over Friday to help with the search. Pereira was convinced that his voice would help the dog emerge.
