The European Commission has decided. Ryanair, WizzAir and 14 other European carriers must refund customers for flights canceled due to COVID-19.
The airlines were given a week to return their outstanding funds. The list includes 16 European carriers. The European Commission also obliged carriers to fully inform passengers about their rights . Under the agreement, carriers will have to provide information on all possible compensation options. It is against the law forcing travelers to redeem their vouchers for subsequent journeys.
