According to Benny, the statement of the retired four-star general could spark internal divisions within the institution and potentially provoke people’s anger towards the TNI.

He also looked Gatot Nurmantyo as a figure who is dangerous to the integrity of the country and even becomes a serious threat to the unity of the TNI and the people.

“What Gatot, who is known as the former Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, has accused him of treason against the TNI itself,” said Benny Rhamdani in Jakarta, Friday (1/10).
