TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Chief Digital Transformation Office Ministry of Health, Setiaji, reported that Ministry of Health currently working on development on the application CareProtect, so that it can be used like digital wallet.

“That’s right (it can be used as a means of payment). Actually the model is similar to digital wallet, meaning that we integrate it with the system payment available,” said Setiaji.
So far, Setiaji said, the development of digital wallet which will be used as this payment tool, is still in the planning stage.
Setiaji explained that until now the government has not decided to cooperate with the electronic money service.

“But this is still a design, we have not decided with whom (will cooperate),” explained Setiaji.
If later the application has been finished and inaugurated, then the benefits that the community will get will be more.
With only one application that is CareProtect Of course, the community can be integrated into the health system as well as the health system tracing involving multiple venues and application support from other parties.
Setiaji gives an overview, for example for a WNA who requires e-Visa payment, then the application CareProtect payment instruments can also be used.
