Developers from Playground Games have released complete HW requirements for the PC version of the Forza Horizon 5 races. Maybe you noticed some time ago that appeared minimum requirements. However, these requirements no longer apply. The authors themselves decided on them update. The current ones therefore they look significantly different.
In addition to the minimal set, the developers also showed here recommended and ideal. It is the box with ideal hardware that contains powerful components at the level of the Intel i7-10700K processor and the Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card. running the game in less detail a card similar to the Nvidia GTX 970 will suffice. Forza Horizon 5 will bite 110 GB from your drive anyway.
The list of supported steering wheels from three different manufacturers was also published:
- Logitech: Driving Force, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923PS, G923XB, Momo
- Thrustmaster: Ferrari 458, T150 RS, T300 RS, T500 RS, TMX, T-GT, TS-XW, TX, TS-PC
- Fanatec: V1, V2, V2.5, CSL, CSL DD, DD1, DD2, Universal HUB device
In addition to HW claims and steering wheels, the authors confirmed support for widescreen monitors (21: 9) and 4K resolution with HDR. They also promised a wide range of graphics and detail settings, the ability to unlock the frame rate or adjust the field of view (FOV) as desired.
Forza Horizon 5 comes out 9. November on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. The PC version can be activated on Steam or Microsoft Store.
