Rui Costa was ratified this Thursday as chairman of the Board of Directors of SAD do Benfica, at the General Assembly. The shareholders also ratified Sílvio Cervan as the new director, as well as approved the last Annual Report, with a negative net result of 17.4 million euros.

«Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD informs, under the terms and for the purposes of the provisions of article 248.º-A of the Portuguese Securities Code, that at the General Meeting held today, September 30, 2021, starting at 7:00 pm, the proposals related to the items on the agenda were approved, as follows:
– Approval of the 2020/21 Annual Report, which covers the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, in which a negative net result of 17,380,202 euros was determined;
– Approval of the proposal for the application of results, with the result determined in the period being transferred to accumulated results;
– Approval of a vote of confidence in the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board, as well as the respective members and the Statutory Auditor, for the exercise of their positions, during the period between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021;
– Ratification of the co-option carried out by the Board of Directors of a new director, Sílvio Rui Neves Correia Gonçalves Cervan, to complete the current term (2020-2024);
– Ratification of the appointment of director Rui Manuel César Costa as chairman of the Board of Directors, to complete the current term (2020-2024). »
