Lily-Rose Depp joins the cast of The Idol, a television series project led by singer The Weeknd and Sam Levinson, creator ofEuphoria. A program that will be broadcast on the American channel HBO.
According to information from the site Deadline, the 22-year-old actress will be the female headliner of this series, facing The Weeknd (who serves as both creator, screenwriter and actor). The plot of The Idol will follow “a pop singer who begins a romance with an enigmatic Los Angeles club owner, leader of a secret sect”.

So far, Lily Rose-Depp and The Weeknd, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, are the only two actors to have been announced – and there is every reason to believe that they themselves will play the pop singer and owner of club.

We follow the nocturnal wanderings of a character that he has also played on stage for more than a year.
