The woman tracked down the owner in order to return him an accidentally discarded bag of money. However, he thanked the woman with only 100 hryvnia.
In the city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, a homeless woman found a package of 110 thousand hryvnias in a garbage dump, after which she found the owner and returned the money to him. On Thursday, September 30, reports Dtp.kiev.ua.
As it turned out, the owner mixed up the packages and threw out money instead of garbage.
He thanked Natalia and appreciated her honest act at only 100 hryvnia, as he believed that for a homeless person it was already a lot of money.
However, the homeless woman was not upset, saying: “My conscience is clear, this is the most important thing for me.” And when asked why she did not take this money for herself and did not start a new life, she answered that it is impossible to start a new life with something that does not belong to you.
