But on the set, Samuel Benchetrit admits that he did not reserve the same treatment for Vanessa Paradis, and her son, as for the other actors. “I did not treat Jules and Vanessa on an equal footing with the others, because they are the ones I prefer, and everyone knows it” he told us at the last Cannes film festival where he presented his film.
A director in love and proud of his wife’s work. “The film will amaze the public, but not me: when you share people’s privacy, you perceive their humor,” explains Samuel Benchetrit.
