WWE NXT 2.0 #3
Ort: Capitol Wrestling Center im WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, USA
First broadcast: September 28, 2021

Today’s edition of NXT 2.0 opens with a video package before Vic Joseph welcomes us. As always, he is supported by Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix.

Hit Row comes out and Adonis says today’s edition is all about women. He hyped the NXT Women’s Championship match and Top Dolla briefly mentions the Women’s Tag Team title match. This would win Toxic Attraction because these would be three of the toughest Bitc … – he is interrupted and his team members point out to him that he wanted to say ladies for sure. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott says his title won’t be at stake today, but against it at B-Fab today. They want to hype the lady a little more, but are interrupted by Legado del Fantasma. The two women get into a fight, it only starts when they are in the ring

1. Match
No Disqualification Singles Match
Electra Lopez (w / Legado del Fantasma) wins against B-Fab (w / Hit Row) via pinfall after the Sitdown Powerbomb.
Match time: 10:04

– Both groups got into a big fight before a commercial break, and after the commercial both were no longer at the ring.
– Several pieces of equipment, including chairs and tables, were used in the match.

After the match, both groups come back. While Legado del Fantasma is celebrating, Hit Row takes care of B-Fab.

We see honeymoon pictures of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell enjoying a day at the beach. They are watched by Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. While swimming in the ocean, they are frightened by a shark that turns out to be a Gargano in disguise.

Joe Gacy goes into the ring. He says that he made a big impression last week and that nothing was deleted from him (although WWE deleted some content from the last week including its “woke promo”) and that he is taller than Tommaso Ciampa, Roderick Strong or Bron Breakker. And that only with the help of the words he says. He doesn’t even have to fight because he speaks for a whole misunderstood generation – only understood by the enlightened. All problems could be solved with the help of discussions and he was here to make his world the new, normal world. He doesn’t want to reveal too much yet, but thanks us for being open to him.

2. Match
Singles Match
Xyon Quinn wins against Oney Lorcan via pinfall after a flying clotheline.
Match time: 03:00

We see a vignette around Grayson Waller. He talks about living for the thrill and we watch him surf, skydive and snowboard. Last week he saw and took his chance. His first official match will be for the cruiserweight title and after today everyone will know his name.

Wes Lee and Nash Carter come out, interviewed by Samantha Irvin. This would like to know what is now up for MSK. They respond that they will continue to dominate the Tag Team Division by remaining the “Fighting Champions”. It doesn’t matter to them whether they have to compete against the old iron of NXT or young blood, everyone has the chance to try their hand at them. The Grizzled Young Veterans come out wanting to know when they’ll get their title match, but Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams have similar plans. A battle of words between the three parties begins and is interrupted by Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen. The two attack Williams and Hayes, a brawl breaks out between all four teams.

McKenzie Mitchell stands backstage with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. She praises Franky Monet as a good opponent, but she will add her to her list of victims. Toxic Attraction walks by and rolls your eyes. Mandy Rose says the title looks good on Gonzalez, but would look a lot better on herself.

3. Match
NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
Io Shirai & Zoey Stark win against Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne w / Mandy Rose) via Pin from Shirai to Jayne after their moonsault.
Match time: 12:46

We see a vignette around Bron Breakker highlighting his recent successes. He claims to feel like he was shot down from a cannon a few weeks ago. He is here to spank all the “studs” in the locker room. That may sound brisk, but he doesn’t care. Anyone who needs a friend should get a dog, he is here to win titles. At the end he addressed a few words to Tommaso Ciampa and warned him that he was not the most patient person.

After the advertisement, Tommaso Ciampa is asked about the words Breakkers. He says the young man’s start was impressive, but maybe he shouldn’t be inducted into the Hall of Fame just yet. He gives Breakker the tip to bring a little more patience, because he has never been defeated as the title holder of “Goldie”. The two are sure to meet and then Breakker will drown in the ocean of inexperience.

4. Match
Singles Match
Boa (w / Mei Ying) wins against Andre Chase via pinfall.
Match time: 03:02

– When the referee was distracted, Ying Chase blew smoke in his face, which heralded the finale.

The honeymoon continues. LeRae and Gargano want to spy and Gargano gets into InDex’s room with the help of a lie and an employee of the hotel. There he finds a large pack of condoms when the couple walks in. Gargano hides quickly, losing a shoe in the process. Hartwell jumps on the bed and tells Lumis to get it for her. Gargano thinks the two are getting intimate, but in reality it’s just a wild pillow fight. Gargano thinks the two fell asleep and comes out of hiding. But Lumis is wide awake, shows him the thumbs up and took the large pack of condoms out of his pocket.

5. Match
NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Singles Match
Roderick Strong (w / Diamond Mine) wins against Grayson Waller via pinfall after jumping knee.
Match time: min. 06:18 (match started during the commercial break)

Mitchell is backstage with LA Knight. She wants to know why he challenged Odyssey Jones to a match next week. Knight says he should be an NXT Champion and that Jones should be prepared for a tough lesson. Jones arrives and promises that Knight has never seen anything like him. They are interrupted by Andre Chase, who complains about his defeat today. Knight uses this interruption to knock Jones down. He’d seen people like Jones before, and like Jones, they ended up flat on the ring floor.

We see another vignette, this time about Dante Chen, who defeated Trey Baxter last week. Chen says he represents Singapore and its people. He will go his way at NXT, his journey has only just begun.

Mitchell conducts the next interview, this time Trey Baxter and Cora Jade are with her. The latter talks about being the youngest at NXT at the age of 20, but she will make sure that her generation asserts itself here more and more. Baxter is confident that she will do well in her match for the coming week. The two kiss at the end of the segment.

The debut of “Lashing Out with Lash Legend” is coming up. She talks about the WWE Draft and says that she already knew a lot about drafts from the days of the WNBA. She also talks about the kiss she just saw and if Jade is looking for a real man, she should take someone like Ikemen Jiro. She also awards the “Lash Out of the Week” – to Andre Chase, because he is a “Pee-wee Herman look-a-like”. And see you next week!

6. Match
Singles Match
Kyle O’Reilly wins against Ridge Holland (w / Pete Dunne) via pinfall after a roll-up.
Match time: min. 05:22 (match started during the commercial break)

Immediately after the match, Dunne enters the ring and he and Holland knock O’Reilly down until Von Wagner makes the save.

And the next vignette. Tony D’Angelo is back at the docks and says a few words about his family who are involved with the Mafia. He’s making his debut next week.

7. Match
NXT Women’s Championship
Singles Match
Raquel Gonzalez wins against Franky Monet (w / Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea) via pinfall after the Chingona Bomb.
Match time: 06:56

After the match, Toxic Attraction come out and beat up Monet, Stone and Kamea before devoting themselves to Gonzalez. The title holder cannot defend herself against the numerical superiority for long and is dominated by the three women. In the end, Rose is standing in the ring with the title belt while the three women are enthroned over Gonzalez. That ends today’s edition of NXT 2.0
