UD Las Palmas prepares the friendlies against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cádiz | BE Las Palmas | SER Deportivos Las Palmas

UD Las Palmas continues with its pre-season training sessions in Marbella (Málaga), and after facing Espanyol and Sevilla, it is already preparing next week’s friendlies against English Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cádiz.

The yellow team has returned to exercise this weekend at the Marbella Football Center facilities, on the fifth and sixth day of work since their arrival on the Costa del Sol.

The footballers trained by Pepe Mel have carried out training with activation, strength and rounds work, as well as practices with the ball, and a new preparatory session is scheduled for Sunday.

The Madrid coach has suffered two important casualties after knowing the positive for covid-19 of the Cantabrian midfielder Sergio Ruiz, which has also implied the isolation of the Gran Canaria striker Rafa Mujica, roommate of the former.

Precisely Mujica was the author of the goal that saw Las Palmas win against Espanyol, in the first friendly played at the Marbella Football Center last Wednesday, while the following day the yellows fell 1-0 against Sevilla in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz).

The two trials that remain for the Gran Canaria team will be against Wolverhampton, of the Premier League, next Monday (10:30 am, peninsular time), and the next day, against Cádiz (7:00 pm).
