Microsoft has announced positive news about the upcoming update to Windows 11. That should go much smoother than with Windows 10 because the update is up to forty percent smaller and will also take place in the background.
In the news: Microsoft has launched a new update mechanism on the eve of the release of Windows 11. That should ensure that the update is less disruptive to users than with Windows 10.
What exactly is it about?
- Windows updates are normally always a big, time-consuming activity. Users had to wait until everything was ready, occasionally confirm something and in the meantime could not do anything on their computer or laptop.
- For Windows 11 However, Microsoft came up with something new. So your computer will check for what it needs and download and install all those updates in the background when you’re idle. Once that is all done, you only have to restart your computer or laptop once to be able to use Windows 11.
What are the main novelties of Windows 11?
- The update to Windows 11 will be available to regular users from 5th October.
- Windows 11 gets a completely new look that includes the home screen in the middle of your screen.
- Android apps will then also be able to run directly on your laptop or computer.
