New Xbox beta open to everyone – PC testing may come later.
—
Halo Infinites multiplayer will be beta tested again this weekend, and this time anyone who wants to can join. What the game’s community manager really wants us to be: he urges us to help them slow down the servers.
The beta, or “multiplayer tech preview” as it is called, runs only on Xbox, and to participate, all you need is to download the Xbox Insider app and download the beta via it. No requirement to actually participate in the Xbox Insider program. There may be an open test on Steam in the future as well, says 343 Industries. More info about that later.
The test will run the game forms Capture the Flag, Total Control and Slayer at various times during the weekend, all running on the track Fragmentation.
The test runs Friday-Sunday, October 1-3. The times are not the best if you are someone who likes to sleep at night:
Day 1 (Friday-Saturday)
19.00 – 23.00 and 02.00 – 06.00
Capture the FlagDay 2 (Saturday-Sunday)
19.00 – 23.00 and 02.00 – 06.00
Capture the Flag, Total ControlDay 3 (Sunday-Monday)
19.00 – 23.00 and 02.00 – 06.00Capture the Flag, Total Control, Slayer
–
Halo Infinite will be released on December 8 for Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
