“China is willing to strengthen coordination with other parties, narrow differences, promote consensus and facilitate the positive outcomes of the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change,” Han said.
As the host country for the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), China looks forward to working with other parties to promote the success of the conference, he added.
Timmermans said that the EU highly appreciates China’s great efforts to tackle climate change and is willing to strengthen dialogue and coordination with China on environment and climate, to make joint contributions to the UN Climate Change Conference. in Glasgow and support China to organize COP15.
