UEFA has appointed Jesus Gil Manzano to referee the match Juventus-Chelsea, one of the posters for the second day of the Champions League, Wednesday.
The Spanish referee will be accompanied on the sidelines by Diego Barbero and Ángel Nevado; Juan Martínez Munuera and Dutchman Pol van Boekel will be in charge of the VAR; the fourth official will be José Luis Munuera Montero.
Juventus and the current European champion are at the top of Group H and will compete for first place. The Italian team beat Malmö 3-0 on Matchday 1 while Londoners beat Zenit Saint Petersburg 1-0.
