7 ‘Fire’ hobbies of Russian President Vladimir Putin

President Russia Vladimir Putin back in the spotlight after Kremlin released a series of photos of him on vacation in Siberia early last September.

In the collection of photos, Putin is again seen having fun spending his time off by “hanging out” with nature, from climbing hills and cliffs to fishing in rivers.

So far, Putin is famous for his beautiful image macho and brave. Putin was even named the sexiest man in Russia in a survey conducted by job provider Superjob.ru in April.

Here are a number of hobbies that Putin likes to do to look macho:

1. Hunting

In 2019, Putin celebrated his 67th birthday by exploring the jungle and hunting in the mountains near the Yanisei River, Siberia. In addition to hunting animals, Putin also hunts wild mushrooms.

Putin hiked mountains and explored the region’s forests over the weekend with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Shoigu is indeed one of the Russian ministers who is close to Putin and often accompanies the president on several of his holiday events.

In the video released by the Kremlin, Putin and Shoigu can be seen picking and smelling the wild mushrooms they got.

“We have climbed above the clouds at an altitude of almost 2,000 meters above sea level,” Putin said in the video footage as quoted by AFP.

Putin also once carried a hunting rifle in the Republic of Tuva, in August 2007, reported The Guardian.

2. Climbing the Mountain

Apart from hunting, the 66-year-old president also likes to climb mountains. Putin had spent several days on vacation to climb mountains in Siberia around the beginning of last September.

In a cowboy hat and safari suit, Putin is seen enjoying his day off exploring the cliffs, meadows and hills accompanied by Shoigu.

3. Fishing

In the same holiday moment, Putin also seems to like fishing. Through a series of photos released by the Kremlin at the end of last week, Putin is seen posing to show off the fish he caught.

4. Horse riding

Putin is also often photographed riding a horse.

In March 2019, she rode a horse with a policewoman to commemorate International Women’s Day. in 2018, he was also seen riding a bare-chested horse while on vacation in Siberia.
