Sabina Nessa (28) was killed in a park in Kidbrooke in south-east London when she was on her way to meet a friend on 17 September.
Nessa was found a day later, covered in leaves. A man is now charged with the murder, reports Sky News.
The accused man is called Koci Selamaj and is said to have worked as a food delivery driver in the area.
Previously, both a 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old man have been suspected in the case, but have since been released.
On Friday, hundreds of people gathered in Kidbrooke to remember Nessa. Kate Middleton has also expressed her support for the bereaved in a Twitter message.

The murder happened months after another young woman, Sarah Everard, 33, was found dead in a wooded area of Kent, England. Police officer Wayne Couzens has been arrested and charged with the murder of Everard.
