The largest vaccinodrome in France, the Palais des Expositions de Nice will close its doors this Monday evening. Since it opened in January, 314,000 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered there.
This reference center, for all the inhabitants of the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis, which has no less than 49 municipalities, mobilized nearly 2,000 people, including doctors, nurses, community officials, students and volunteers. A center that has broken all records, according to the city, with 314,000 injections carried out.
On April 9, 5,311 vaccines were performed there within 12 hours and 15,019 injections were administered there during Ascension weekend, for example. “The commitment and mobilization of all have made it possible to save lives!”, Underlined the mayor of Nice; Christian Estrosi, at the time of the assessment.

This Monday evening, the vaccination center of the Palais des Expositions will interrupt its activity and will be transferred to the Théâtre de Verdure. At the end of last week, the milestone of 500,000 administered doses was crossed on the territory of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. In the Alpes-Maritimes, 87% of the eligible population is vaccinated.
