In this way, the country already has a budget to buy 3.5 million vaccines by 2022.

The new vaccines will be from the pharmaceutical house Pfizer / BioNTech.

“The Vaccination Commission approved the purchase of 1 million additional doses that will strengthen the vaccination campaign and thus reach and protect more population. These doses are in addition to the 2.5 million that had already been approved to buy for the year 2022.

Thus, for next year a total of 3.5 million vaccines would be reached: 1.5 million would be to immunize boys and girls between 5 and 12 years old and 2 million would be to place third doses.

Starting next Monday, the Caja teams will reinforce the active search for the unvaccinated susceptible population throughout the country, so that protection against Covid-19 can be brought to those who have not yet made the decision to receive the first dose. of vaccine.
