Accession to NATO – Zaluzhny said that Ukraine has fully implemented the standards of the Alliance

According to him, Ukraine has implemented standards in management, planning and preparation.

“That is, we have already fully developed these standards, according to which NATO is fulfilling its tasks. But this is not enough. In order for us to become NATO, a political decision is necessary, in my personal opinion. We are already ready. We can say so,” he said. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, according to him, for the sake of NATO standards in Ukraine, the leading positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine were divided: the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the commander of the JFO.

“And all these divided posts are just a consequence of the movement towards NATO, towards civilized relations. Therefore, the posts were divided. Now, as the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I am responsible for combat readiness, for the preparation and use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Zaluzhny said.
