The fatal victim of a car accident yesterday on the A67 near Maasbree is a 37-year-old German from Mönchengladbach. He was taken to hospital after the accident where he died of his injuries, police said.
The car was hit from behind yesterday and caught fire. The victim was in the car with two other men from the same residence. They are injured, but not life-threatening.

The driver of the following car fled on foot after the accident. Despite of a search with dogs and a helicopter, this man or woman is still missing.
It is not clear there were other people in this car. It is clear that it is a car with a Dutch registration, which has not been reported as stolen.
