BILTHOVEN – An ash cloud from La Palma, which passed over the Netherlands in the night from Saturday to Sunday, did not pose any risks to public health. The cloud was very high in the atmosphere and in addition, its sulfur dioxide level was relatively low, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) said on Sunday.
