There are several changes that could come with the return of the Cashback. In fact, according to what reported by Milan Finance, Prime Minister Mario Draghi is thinking of reintroducing the measure, but redirecting it only to citizens with low income, precisely to avoid favoring the richest segment of the population. So the whole measure could cost significantly less, about 500 million euros a year.

The figure would be significantly lower than that spent with the measures applied by Giuseppe Conte. Currently, however, we speak only of indiscretions and, as for the future of Cashback, a final decision has not yet been made. The next few months, therefore, will be decisive to understand if the Draghi government will re-introduce the repayment plan in the first six months of the new year.
