Just a few days ago, we commemorated the 10th anniversary of the tragic death of the Slovak legendary hockey player Pavel Demitra, who perished together with his teammates from Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
A native of Dubnice nad Váhom, he worked in many clubs during his rich career, while he also spent two seasons in the Vancouver Canucks jersey two before leaving the NHL. And our 36-year-old goalkeeper Jaroslav Halák also went to this club during the summer.
He, when he skated in the pre-season preparation for ice, immediately attracted not only Slovak fans with the design of his mask. Jaroslav Halák took care of the beautiful gesture and on his new mask there is not only a Slovak emblem, but also the number 38 and the name Demitra.
