Elton John, performer of “Rocket Man” in Paris, put a series of global concerts into orbit on Saturday, with Stevie Wonder in Los Angeles and Billie Eilish in New York to raise awareness of threats to the planet, under the auspices of the NGO Global Citizen. Nearly 20,000 people were present in Paris.
