JAKARTA – The development of the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as of September 25, 2021, nationally, the daily recovery rate has increased to reach 3,746 people recovering per day. Today’s addition increases the cumulative number of cures to reach 4 million people recovered or to be precise 4,020,801 people (95.6%).
In line with that, active cases or positive patients who still require medical treatment, decreased again by 1,732 cases and the total decreased to 44,071 cases (1.0%). With the addition of positive confirmed patients (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid antigen), today there were an increase of 2,137 cases and the cumulative, or the number of confirmed positive patients recorded since the first case until today reached 4,206,253 cases.
In addition, the number of patients who died also increased by 123 cases and the cumulative number reached 141,381 cases (3.4%). In addition, from the results of laboratory tests per day, 257,803 specimens have been examined (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid antigen) per day with a total of 375,061 suspected cases.
For the development of the vaccination program, the recipients of the 1st vaccine continue to grow and today there are 569,619 people with a total exceeding 85 million people or 85,433,518 people. Meanwhile, those who received the second vaccination also increased to more than 47 million people or 47,996,105 people, including today’s addition of 287,964 people. And the 3rd vaccine recipients increased by 6,686 people and cumulatively as many as 897,141 people. The target for vaccination is 208,265,720 people.
Furthermore, looking at the development of treatment per province, there are five provinces adding the highest daily recovered patients. Aceh province added 494 people and cumulatively 33,467 people, followed by East Java adding 368 people and cumulatively 362,943 people, DI Yogyakarta added 249 people and cumulatively 147,407 people, North Sumatra added 247 people and cumulatively 98,844 people and West Java added 214 people and cumulatively 683,630 people .
Then, with the addition of daily positive confirmed cases, there were 5 provinces with the highest numbers. Namely in Central Java added 309 cases and cumulatively 480,997 cases, followed by East Java added 215 cases and cumulatively 394,614 cases, West Java added 188 cases and cumulatively 701,911 cases, DKI Jakarta added 133 cases and cumulatively 857,064 cases and North Sumatra added 108 cases and the cumulative 104,298 cases.
For the distribution of active cases per province, the highest number was in Central Java with 3,385 cases, West Java with 3,691 cases, North Kalimantan with 2,973 cases, North Sumatra with 2,648 cases and East Java with 2,314 cases.
In addition, there are 5 provinces with the highest daily death rates including East Java adding 17 cases and cumulatively 29,357 cases, followed by Central Java adding 12 cases and cumulatively 29,819 cases, Papua adding 10 cases and cumulatively 456 cases, Bali adding 9 cases and cumulatively 3,914 cases and Aceh added 9 cases and a cumulative 1,889 cases.
In addition, the results of tests per day from laboratory networks in various regions, the cumulative number of specimens examined has reached 37,859,340 specimens. Consists of 7,805,119 positive (cumulative) specimens and 28,356,775 negative (cumulative) specimens. The daily specimen positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 1.46% and the weekly specimen positivity rate (19-25 September 2021) is 1.84%. While invalid and inconclusive specimens (per day) amounted to 48 specimens.
For the number of people being examined per day, there are 181,861 people and the cumulative number is 25,262,904 people. Then in the negative confirmed results, the cumulative number increased to 21,056,651 people including today’s addition of 179,724 people. Meanwhile, the daily positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 1.18% and the weekly positivity rate (19-25 September 2021) is 1.51%. In terms of distribution, the affected areas are still in 34 provinces and 510 regencies/cities.
