They ate a typical dish from the south of the United States. With the fried chicken and waffles, Harry and Meghan were served spring rolls, fish and some kind of sweet potatoes.
The Duke and Duchess have donated $25,000 to the restaurant called Melba’s. The restaurant is committed to food waste by, among other things, delivering and using food that would otherwise be thrown away. “We hope the Duke and Duchess return soon. #sweetpotatopiehugs,” the eatery tweeted.
Harry and Megan have visited the observatory of the One World Trade Center in New York. It is one of their first outings since the birth of their second child in June.
