Tennis – Gojowczyk eliminated in the semifinals in Metz – Sport

Metz (AP) – The successful series of tennis professional Peter Gojowczyk at the ATP tournament in Metz has been stopped in the semifinals. On Saturday the 32-year-old Munich lost against number one seeded Poland Hubert Hurkacz 4: 6, 6: 7 (4: 7).

Most recently, Gojowczyk reached the round of 16 for the first time in his career at the US Open in New York. The Bavarian had won the tournament in Metz 2017 and got his only title so far on the ATP tour.
