This is the first official trip for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since they settled in the United States and the couple’s first public appearance, in person, since the birth of Lilibet Diana.
Three months after the birth of their second daughter Lilibet Diana, Harry and Meghan Markle they have resumed their public agenda. The couple has traveled to New York to meet with the mayor, Bill de Blasio and with the governor of the state, Kathy Hochul at the One World Trade Center, an observatory located in the area where the Twin Towers were located. A visit with important media significance because it occurs days after the celebration of the 20 years of the September 11 attack.
