STTICTLY star Nina Wadia revealed her body was “held together by duct tape” after grueling rehearsals.
The former EastEnders star, 52, said workouts with professional dancer Neil Jones gave his body a ‘wake-up call’.

“I am currently being held with duct tape,” Nina said The mirror.
“I guess being maybe the least prepared person in the world, it’s a wake-up call for my body.
“My back is all sticky, my hip flexors are sore, I have bandages all over my feet.
“Neil makes me wear the heels for training and when I take them off at the end of the day my feet are so swollen I can’t put them back in my sneakers. I’m a bit of a mess, to be honest.
The TV star added that physiotherapists are always available to help build muscles and provide the right exercises.
Looks like Nadia and her dance partner Neil are embarking on the life of a house on fire.
The actress couldn’t help but do a cheeky jibe when she found out who she would dance with on this series.
In the pre-recorded video, Nina was waiting by a river for her partner to show up by boat and eagerly trying to figure out who it was.
She admitted in the meantime: “I have someone in mind, I hope it will be him. “
As Neil came into view – in a sailor’s hat – Nina let out a cry, before looking off camera, tapping her foot jokingly and shouting, “I said anyone but him!”

Neil accompanied him playfully, turning around as he pretended to get back on the boat before rushing over to hug Nina.
Viewers at home found Nina’s fake crisis hilarious and took to social media to share their appreciation.

Another joked, “Omg an honest celebrity !! God bless you Nina !!!! It only took years for the celebrity to say she was expecting someone else!

Nina is best known for playing Zainab Masood in EastEnders between 2007 and 2013, and also starred in Goodness Gracious Me.
