Stuttgart – “Grandpa believed in God,” says the teenage girl Mathilde, who has just lost her mother in a train accident. Her father Markus replies: “Yes, he wasn’t too clever.” This is how the mourners talk past each other, the girl looking for support – and the warrior who has returned traumatized from a long assignment abroad. Then three geniuses with behavioral problems appear who claim that the accident was in truth a terrorist attack: On the train there was a key witness against a criminal rocker gang.
