Four people arrested after dismantling a sexual exploitation network | Radio Ourense

The National Police have arrested in Ourense four alleged members of a sexual exploitation network. An operation carried out by police officers from Ourense and from Santiago de Compostela allowed initially dismantle a criminal group that recruited women in vulnerable situations, and forced them to offer sexual services in private flats.

The investigation started after the police were informed that two minors from Ourense had been housed in the home of an adult that he forced them to have sexual relations with him and another individual, as alleged payment for helping them, since they were in a vulnerable situation.

The performance of the agents allowed the girl to be released before being forced into prostitution, detaining two men and two women during the operation, one of them a minor, as alleged perpetrators of the events. At the same time, the police investigation led to the alleged leader of the group, who resided in Santiago de Compostela.

This alleged leader, who has also been arrested, would be in charge of testing the captured women to determine if they were valid for prostitution, later keeping up to 40% of what was paid for each service.
