Disney Branded Television dveloppe House of Secrets, a fantasy action-adventure series from Chris Columbus and his 26th Street Pictures partners Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe. Columbus, the director of Harry Potter and of Mom, I missed the plane!, co-wrote the series of books for college students (translated in France under the title La maison des secrets) with the late Ned Vizzini.
The Disney + Project revolves around the Brendan siblings, Eleanor, and Cordelia Walker, who are not happy when their family moves to a spooky Victorian house once owned by occult novelist Denver Kristoff. When the Walkers realize that their new neighbor has sinister plans for them, they are pulled into the magical house, traveling through the intertwined fantastical universes of Kristoff’s novels.
