COVID-19 Healing Rate Continues to Increase Reaching 4,017,055 People – Latest News

JAKARTA – The development of the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as of September 24, 2021, nationally, the daily recovery rate has increased to 4,607 people recovering per day. Today’s addition increases the cumulative number of cures to reach 4 million people recovered or to be precise 4,017,055 people (95.6%).

In line with that, active cases or positive patients who still require medical treatment, decreased again by 2,194 cases and the total decreased to 45,803 cases (1.1%). With the addition of positive confirmed patients (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid antigen), today there are 2,557 cases and cumulatively, or the number of positive confirmed patients recorded since the first case to date has reached 4,204,116 cases.

In addition, the number of patients who died also increased by 144 cases and the cumulative number reached 141,258 cases (3.4%). In addition, from the results of laboratory tests per day, specimens have been examined (RT-PCR/TCM and rapid antigen tests) per day as many as 252,596 specimens with a total of 370,614 suspected cases.

For the development of the vaccination program, the recipients of the 1st vaccine continue to grow and today there are 1,615,771 people with a total exceeding 84 million people or 84,863,899 people. Meanwhile, those who received the second vaccination also increased to more than 47 million people or 47,708,141 people, including today’s addition of 727,794 people. And the 3rd vaccine recipients increased by 11,866 people and the cumulative number was 890,455 people. The target for vaccination is 208,265,720 people.

Furthermore, looking at the development of treatment per province, there are five provinces adding the highest daily recovered patients. Aceh province added 880 people and cumulatively 32,973 people, followed by East Java added 357 people and cumulatively 362,575 people, West Java added 328 people and cumulatively 683,416 people, DKI Jakarta added 327 people and cumulatively 841,373 people and North Sumatra added 268 people and cumulatively 98,597 people .

Then, with the addition of daily positive confirmed cases, there were 5 provinces with the highest numbers. Namely, Central Java added 286 cases and cumulatively 480,688 cases, followed by East Java adding 219 cases and cumulatively 394,399 cases, West Java adding 217 cases and cumulatively 701,723 cases, DKI Jakarta adding 181 cases and cumulatively 856,931 cases and North Sumatra adding 157 cases and the cumulative 104,190 cases.

For the distribution of active cases per province, the highest number was in Central Java with 3,798 cases, West Java with 3,719 cases, North Kalimantan with 3,050 cases, North Sumatra with 2,789 cases and Aceh with 2,541 cases.

In addition, there are 5 provinces with the highest daily death rate including East Java adding 18 cases and cumulatively 29,340 cases, followed by Central Java adding 16 cases and cumulatively 29,807 cases, West Java adding 13 cases and cumulatively 14,588 cases, Bali adding 12 cases and cumulatively 3,905 cases and Aceh added 12 cases and a cumulative 1,880 cases.

In addition, the results of tests per day of laboratory networks in various regions, the cumulative number of specimens examined has reached 37,601,537 specimens. Consists of 7,801,362 positive (cumulative) specimens and 28,102,837 negative (cumulative) specimens. The daily specimen positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 1.65% and the weekly specimen positivity rate (12-18 September 2021) is 2.65%. While invalid and inconclusive specimens (per day) amounted to 48 specimens.

For the number of people being examined per day there are 172,973 people and the cumulative is 25,081,043 people. Then in the negative confirmed results, the cumulative number increased to 20,876,927 people including today’s addition of 170,416 people. Meanwhile, the daily positivity rate (NAA and Antigen) is at 1.48% and the weekly positivity rate (12-18 September 2021) is 2.19%. In terms of distribution, the affected areas are still in 34 provinces and 510 regencies/cities.
