António Pires de Andrade, chairman of the Benfica General Assembly (MAG), Fernando Tavares and Jaime Antunes, vice-presidents of the outgoing Board of the club, and representatives of the Servir o Benfica movement met again yesterday to discuss and line up the last terms of the document that will be designated as electoral regulation and that will already be applied in the next elections, meaning, among other things, that there will be physical and not electronic voting, as in the last elections.
“If the document is exactly what was defined at the meeting, we will validate it. The Servir o Benfica movement salutes the General Assembly and Board of Directors for meeting those that were our six guidelines in order to move forward. For us, the movement, the document must also be ratified at the General Assembly, as the partners must have the last word. For us, however, it is a good document for the October 9 election, and as it is a good document, we are going to play with it», explained to A BOLA Tiago Godinho, of the movement, confirming that Francisco Benitez will go to the polls as head of Serving Benfica poster.
The formalization of the electoral regulation so that it can be applied in the next suffrage now belongs to the Board and the MAG of the incarnates and should only be a reality next week, but already today at the Benfica General Assembly scheduled for the Luz pavilion, it should deserve it the attention of many associates, even if the only point is to “appreciate and vote on the management report and accounts for the year 2020/2021, as well as the report and opinion of the Supervisory Board”.
