The makers of the new movie about the Super Mario Bros. have found their Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. Chris Pratt signed on for the role of Mario and Charlie Day did the same for Luigi.
The gentlemen can leave their dungarees at home for the recordings, because it is an animated film about the characters from the popular video games. Princess Peach also appears in it, voiced by The Queen’s Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy.
Jack Black provides the voice of Bowser for the film, Keegan-Michael Key is Toad and Seth Rogen is roped in for the voice of Donkey Kong. Super Mario Bros should hit theaters around the holiday season of 2022.
