Attorney General’s Office (AGO) object to educational background Attorney General ST Burhanuddin which was rumored to be different from the official data released by the Adhyaksa Corps website.
“Regarding the existence of several data from the Attorney General’s office that was spread in other media, we confirm that the data is false,” said the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the Attorney General’s Office, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak in a written statement, Thursday (23/9).
He explained that the education history of the Attorney General was officially recorded in documents and data at the Indonesian Attorney’s Office of Personnel Bureau. In the deed, the Attorney General underwent education at three universities.
First, Strata 1 education at the 17 August University, Semarang. Then he has a second degree at the Labora Management College in DKI Jakarta and his last education is a bachelor’s degree at the Satyagama University in DKI Jakarta.
“Documents and educational data in point 2 above are the same as those used at the inauguration ceremony as a non-permanent professor in the field of criminal law at Jenderal Soedirman University,” he explained.
In a number of photos circulating, it is stated that Burhanuddin’s educational background at the undergraduate to postgraduate levels is different, referring to a number of sources.
One of them is in Burhanuddin’s inauguration speech as a professor some time ago and the official website of the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office. It was stated that the top leadership of the Adhyaksa Corps was a law graduate at Diponegoro University and graduated in 1980.
Then, Burhanuddin’s postgraduate course was mentioned in Management at the University of Indonesia (UI) in 2001. The reference had been widely circulated in the mass media and social media recently.
