Anyone walking down the street in Wijnegem these days can just bump into Kanye West. Peter Hoste from the Stokerijstraat, opposite the Kanaal art gallery, already experienced it on Thursday. The teacher was not very impressed with the meeting. “He spoke to me about my dogs, but I didn’t know him. He thought that was quite funny.” The American rapper would stay in one of the lofts on the site of art dealer and interior designer Axel Vervoordt, although they are silent about it.
