Pleasant temperatures in the Czech Republic have not yet said the last word. After cold and rainy days, we can look forward to the old lady’s summer. According to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, it will come together with the beginning of astronomical autumn, which falls on Wednesday. And this is confirmed by the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI).
Astronomical autumn begins on Wednesday, September 22 at 9 pm and 8 minutes. “The sun enters the sign of Libra and the autumn equinox occurs. Due to the fact that the sun’s rays bend in the atmosphere after sunset, the sun is visible for 12 hours and 10 minutes. The northern hemisphere is beginning to deviate from the sun. The beginning of the astronomical autumn will bring warming to the Czech Republic this year, “ said TN.cz weather expert Dagmar Honsová.
Anyone who was afraid that the gloomy sky and temperatures around 13 degrees Celsius would not disappear can rejoice. Already in the second half of this week, the old lady’s summer will come to the Czech Republic.
“The cold northeast current, which will significantly reduce the afternoon temperatures at the beginning of the week, will weaken. We can look forward to 20 degrees,” said Hons.
This also follows from the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI). Wednesday’s temperatures will still be between 12 and 16 degrees, but on Thursday they will climb to 22 degrees.
And pleasant weather awaits us in the coming days. It should be from 16 to 20 degrees on Friday, and even 19 to 23 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. The outlook for next Monday and Tuesday counts from 16 to 20 degrees.
Autumn should be above average
According to Honsová, temperatures will remain above average throughout the autumn. Most in the south of the old continent, but also in our country.
“For the next three months, the biggest positive deviations from the long-term normal will be in the south and south-east of Europe. 21 to 26 ° C. In Central Europe, the biggest positive deviations should be November and December, “ concluded the meteorologist.
