Apple’s First Folding iPhone Will Back To 2024?
Dream – Fans of mobile phones made by Apple, the iPhone, seem to have to be patient longer waiting for the presence of a folding smartphone that has been issued by Samsung. The company owned by the late Steve Jobs is expected to only release a folding phone in the fall of 2024, or two years from its big competitor Samsung.
The forecast came from Apple analyst Ming Chi Kui who studied the financial outlook for Apple’s component suppliers.
In May 2021, Kuo previously paid great attention to the foldable iPhone concept. At that time, he said that the first folding phone made by Apple would have a QHD + screen dimension of 8 inches. The screen is predicted to have a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels.

If the report is accurate, this specification is higher than the 7.3-inch QXGA+ screen on the Samsung Fold with a 16:9 ratio.
However, Kuo corrected the launch schedule for the foldable iPhone, which is expected to produce between 15 to 20 million units by 2023. Referring to the new report as reported Apple Insider, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, Kuo suspects that Apple will only be ready to release its new phone in the fall of 2024.
