Canadian rock band “Billy Talent” will perform for the first time in Latvia next summer
Riga, Sept. 21, LETA. Next summer, the Canadian rock band “Billy Talent” will visit Latvia for the first time, performing on June 15 in the concert hall “Palladium”, the organizers of the concert informed LETA.
Billy Talent is ranked 27th among the best Canadian groups and is among the ten most commercially successful Canadian groups sold.
The band’s debut album “Billy Talent” was released in the fall of 2003 and received acclaim from music critics. With the hits “Try Honesty”, “The Ex”, “River Below” and “Nothing to Lose”, the album reached the top six of the Canadian album and triple platinum status, resulting in two prestigious Juno Awards – “Best of the Year” album “and” Best Band of the Year “. The band’s next albums, Billy Talent II & Billy Talent III, have also received triple platinum status.
The band’s latest album, Afraid of Heights, released in 2016, debuted at number one on the music album chart, not only in Canada, but also in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
“Reckless Paradise”, “Beg To Differ (This Will Get Better)”, “Forgiveness I + II” and the latest “End of Me” are songs from the band’s sixth album “Crisis Of Faith”.
