You shouldn’t try to cross the tram tracks in a Mercedes Sprinter …
Everyone has the image of the German police officers driving in powerful BMW sedans, able to catch up with the drivers at high speed. But like all police forces in the world, these Germans can also count on commercial vehicles like the Mercedes Sprinter.
And it’s one of those Sprinter that finds itself in an awkward position somewhere in the country: for some unknown reason, its driver tried to cross a streetcar lane outside of the lanes intended for cars. And he got stuck in the tracks, stuck in the grass and unable to cross.
Lots of elbow grease
The police push with all their strength to get the big machine out of there, but obviously that is not enough. The video doesn’t say how they finally got him back.
