In this game we will control Even, who lives in The Kingdom of Random, a place where when you turn 12 your destiny will be decided by a strange dark dice, where The Queen of Random It will take you to the kingdom marked by the result that said dice throws, in this adventure we will try to save the sister Odd, who was kidnapped a little over 1 year ago and sent to the kingdom of the 6, which is a place where the most successful people are said to go, but Even has had very strange dreams where he gets the feeling that it is all otherwise.

In our history we will meet multiple characters who will tell us the reasons why they came to the different kingdoms, we can also appreciate how each kingdom is totally different from each other.

During our adventure we will not be alone, it will accompany us Dicey, a very charismatic dice that will help us in our combat and what stands out a lot is the way the developers make us play a very fun board game within Lost in Random.

How is the combat in Lost in Random?

In the fights, we will have to make use of our faithful slingshot with which we will have to shoot some blue stones that are on the body of our opponents, where they will release energy, with which we have to tell Dicey to pick it up, this with the purpose that it will allow us to roll our dice and thus stop time in order to better plan our strategy with which we defeat the enemies we face.

In turn, we have the possibility of making use of various cards, which we will unlock throughout the game, these cards can be healing, slowing down time, a bomb that can do a lot of damage, cause damage to the opponent when you break it its crystals, and even weapons to attack at short and long distances, which would be a sword or a mallet, the combat style is up to you

In addition, you can make a deck specifically for close combat only with a mallet and shields but you can also make one where it only focuses on doing damage by breaking crystals with your slingshot or bow, you decide!

The store.

In the store we will have access to a varied amount of cards in which we can get when buying with the money that we find in some containers, finishing missions or sending Dicey to some sections in which only he can access.

Mannie Dex o Manu Barajas (I have namesake!) will sell us different types of cards, each with different effects but when spending a certain amount of money, he will give you another pack of cards where you can choose what type of cards he will sell in his store and the effects are: luck, support, cheat or attack, here you decide how you want to play.

What stands out a lot about this game is its visual section and I must say that personally I loved!.

His style of art at different levels but this is according to each situation, that is, if we are in a fishing place we will be able to see elements that you can see and are representative of those places, the cities that we visit together with the inhabitants give a feeling of be in a combined world of El extraño mundo de Jack (Nightmare before christmas) and Alice: Madness Returns (I love both productions).

There were some textures and settings that were not very bright in detail, but these details did not interrupt the immersion and enjoyment of this game.

Sound.

As for the voices, I can tell you personally that I liked them a lot, the voice given to Dicey seems very funny to me how he makes unintelligible noises for us, but for the world of Random, it is something so normal, it would have It has been a nice touch to have dubbing into Latin Spanish for some users, but at least we have menus and subtitles in Spanish.

The music in the fighting feels according to the situation, again there was not a song that stayed in my memory, the sound of our blows, explosions and enemies are excellent.

The positive.

• Very easy to learn combat system.

The negative.

• Its map is not very intuitive, although the scenarios are short when doing secondary missions you will have to walk around the map but if you do not pay attention to where you are going you can get lost.
• On some occasions I was unable to open my inventory menu in certain locations in the game.
• On very rare occasions Dicey would get stuck with some sections of the game, but these were fixed by calling you.
• You cannot customize the control, you cannot change the speed of the cursor, but this is compensated by an auto-pointing that rarely fails.

Conclusion.

Lost in Random, is a very fun game where its freedom of play means that you can play it your way, the characters are very nice, the NPCs of the game will give you the feeling of being in a Tim Borton movie, the story is good and very entertaining.
