In a Facebook post on Thursday, meteorologist Karl Bohnak announced that he had been fired for refusing to take the vaccine against covid-19.
The case is discussed in Huffington Post.
– It is with a heavy heart that I announce today, after 33 years, that I am no longer employed by TV6, Bohnak began his post.

Imposes the vaccine on employees
He further explains that he is leaving the channel because the business owner has ordered everyone who uses the company’s property to take the vaccine.
– Since I chose not to take the vaccine, I was fired. Many of you have taken the vaccine, and it is certainly your right. It is also my right to choose the medical option that is right for me. I have authority over my body, writes Bohnak.

– You have every right to refuse the vaccine, just as the company has the right to fire you, one writes.
– Because of people like you, people experience heart attacks and car accidents, and die, while trying to find hospital beds that are not filled by unvaccinated people like yourself, writes another.
In the post, Bohnak compared being vaccinated to buying brakes for the car, without a liability guarantee. He also portrayed the situation as a matter of personal rights, referring to “the abolition of our freedom and liberty during the pandemic.”
– Time to wake up
– It’s time to wake up and look at what’s happening here in America and in the rest of the world. We fall victim to fear, I think, in an attempt to control ourselves, Bohnak claims.

He also writes that he takes a risk by not accepting the vaccine.
– I may take a chance and maybe I will be infected, but for a normally healthy, adult person, who does not live in a nursing home or have other underlying diseases, the chance of surviving the virus is over 99 percent, he writes.
