Reported from Indian Express, Tuesday (21/9), the company also introduced detailed read receipts in the group. Users will get new interactive emojis with full-screen effects as part of the new update.
Users can now apply new Chat themes Telegram to specific private chats to customize their appearance. Each new theme will feature gradient message bubbles, animated backgrounds and unique background patterns that allow users to customize their chats.
If you want to activate the theme on your device, make sure you have updated the app to the latest version. You can then tap the chat header box in the chat window, click the three-dot icon and select Change Color to activate the theme.
The app is also getting a new set of animated emojis with full-screen effects. Animation and vibration will play simultaneously on the smartphone if the chat window of the user and chat partner is open.
Users can now check if other users in the group have received or read their messages. Group messages will be marked with a double tick icon to indicate the receipt status has been read.
As part of the previous update, Telegram released a feature that allows host to entertain an unlimited number of participants when they start the Livestream. Now, as part of the latest update, the app will allow admins for them to live stream and video chat.
